Legal Fund

              The USAWA LEGAL FUND was organized in 1989 at Covington, PA during a meeting of representatives of the USAWA.

                 The USAWA LEGAL FUND was established as an independent entity but, in view of USAWA's involvement in the litigation against prior breed-specific ordinances, the administration of the FUND was                    undertaken by USAWA.

                                        

              The Board of Directors of the FUND are completely volunteer and is solely responsible for the administration of the FUND.

      In the nine years of its existence, the Fund has collected donations and we need more legal costs are high!

      All donations have been from individuals.

            

   Your help is needed in two very critical areas: the  financial area you have already seen,   the other is the public relations.  We must  this war!

             Vicious/bad wolfdogs did not get that way alone! They were bred and trained by vicious or irresponsible people.

             Very responsible wolfdog breeders, owners, and associations must teach our legislators where the real problem is, and propose solutions.
                                    
     Legislation banning the wolfdog will not work what we DO need is legislation that is strong, fair and enforceable.

               We do not have a wolfdog problem....                    we have a people problem!!!

       Breed-specific ordinances have been aimed principally at the wolfdog/hybrid. We know of other breeds being included in some proposals.

  How long will it be before your state or area joins the ever-growing list threatening ownership of a wolfdog/hybrid? If you procrastinate until it effects you personally, it may be too late
