Located
just off the Old Oregon trail, nestled in a lush green valley
in the rugged, southern Oregon mountains lies LaFlamme Farms.

natural rugged beauty and echoing spirits of the wild Rogue
and Tekilma Indians inspires us to preserve the more natural
native American types of animals, that teach us how to live
together in harmony with our environment. |

We raise
working Peruvian
Horses on year round pastures, where they are routinely
worked on rugged mountain trails, and in our wine grape vineyards.
We have acres of green grazing meadows and also grow our own hay.
The horses become accustomed to crossing streams and swimming
in lakes. They are accustomed to traffic of all types. Close to
the Pacific Crest Trail, the Illinois and Rouge Rivers, and the
Pacific Coast, our training in varied environments enhances each
animal's natural ability.

American Indian Dogs
Our breeding program's goals include maintaining the mystical appearance
and excellent working temperament of the original "Spiritual
Dogs" of the past, and emphasizing their loyal nurturing, and
herding instincts that help them (and us) survive this fast moving
society . After near extinction I would like to believe the Plains
Indian Dogs, and their aboriginal cousins in the Americas and around
the globe, still have a place left in this world.

Our breeding goals are: genetic health, and personality first,
big size and clear, distinctive spots second, along with ear tuffs
and natural bob tails. |
