About Michael Canalizo.  Mr. Canalizo has spent many years in the Dog Show World as a Breeder/Owner and Professional Handler turned Judge.  His original breed is the Afghan Hound.  He was the Breeder/Owner/Handler of the Top Winning Hound of All Time with 87 BIS wins until a daughter of his dog that he showed beat that record with 161 BIS.  He has won two Top Owner Handler Awards and 6 Quaker Oats Awards with CH Tryst of Grandeur being the Top Dog of All Breeds in 1995.  He is currently approved to judge BIS, all Hound breeds and 5 of the 7 Groups.

Born to Win for Owner Handlers

    Ms. Trotter has revamped much of her seminar to focus on the owner handler.  She will be presenting a whole new slant geared toward the breeder/owner/handler with special instructional periods on Sunday.
    Sunday will feature working with the owner and their dog.  The session will include a question period for owners to ask specific questions to help solve problems particular to their breed or dog.  (Note: Dog can not be one that will ever be entered under Ms. Trotter)
